Description
This Pre-made lentivirus expresses a cDNA clone, human target: SIRT6 (sirtuin 6). (alternative name: SIR2L6). The sub-cloned codon sequence is identical (100% match) to CDS region in NCBI ID:NM_016539.2. The Sirt6 gene protects against aging-associated pathologies including metabolic disease and cancer, and can promote longevity in mice
The full sequence-verified target is natively expressed under an optional inducible suCMV promoter. This lentivirus can be used for regular constitutive high expression (without any induction), or optionally used for inducible expression by tetracycline or Dox induction when the tetracycline repressor protein (TetR) is present (Premade TetR lentivirus can be purchased separately if you need the inducible expression).
The lentivirus contains a Blasticidin–RFP fusion dual marker under the RSV promoter which allows fluorescence sorting or blasticidin killing selection of transduced cells. The RFP signal provides convenient, real-time monitoring of the virus’ performance. See Product Manual for details (.pdf).
Amount: 200ul, at 1 x 107 IFU/ml in DMEM medium with 10% FBS and 10x of polybrene (60 ug/ml). (Note: When requested, the concentrated particles can be provided at 1 x 108 IFU/ml in 200ul PBS solution for $650.00 USD).
