Description
This mouse B lymphocyte, a suspension cell line, was established from the MOPC315 plasmacytoma in a BALB/c mouse. It is used extensively in immunological research and studies related to multiple myeloma. MOPC-315 cells exhibit a surface antigen profile with positive markers of CD38, CD138, CD79a/b, CD45, CD54, and MHC Class I, while lacking or having low expression of CD19, CD20, CD3, CD34, and CD14.
This dual reporter cell line was transformed from mouse B lymphocyte (MOPC315) cells, co-expressing firefly Luciferase and RFP fluorescent report under the enhanced EF1a promoter, mediated via F2A element. The Puromycin resistance marker was expressed under Rsv promoter. The following express cassette was integrated into cell line’s genome.
Each cell demonstrates strong RFP fluorescent signal (see sample image below), and luciferase/ chem-iluminescence signal via Luc assay (Note: It is the pooled polyclonal population, not originated from a single cell colony. Thus you will observe the different RFP signal intensity among cells).
Sold at: 1 vial x (2 x 106 cells)/vial, see details in Product Manual.
