Description
This Premade lentivirus expresses human target, KDR (kinase insert domain receptor) (alternative name: CD309; FLK1; VEGFR; VEGFR2). The sub-cloned codon sequence is identical (100% match) to CDS region in NCBI ID:NM_002253.2
The target is expressed under an optional inducible suCMV promoter. This lentivirus can be used for regular constitutive high expression (without any induction) or used for inducible expression, by tetracycline or Dox induction, when the tetracycline repressor protein (TetR) is present.
It contains a RFP-Blasticidin fusion dual marker under the RSV promoter, which allows fluorescence sorting or blasticidin resistance selection of transduced cells. The RFP signal additionally provides convenient, real-time monitoring of the particles’ performance. (see also its GFP-Puromycin version, CAT#: LVP1176-GP-PBS.)
