Description
Lentivirus expresses the mutant human target, NRAS (Q61R): NRAS proto-oncogene, GTPase (alternative name: ALPS4; CMNS; N-ras; NCMS; NRAS1; NS6 ). This lentivirus express the mutant version of NRAS (ID: NM_002524, with mutation site at Q61R) with a N-terminal HA tag. The expressed protein sequence is listed as follows:

(Note: Yellow highlighted is the HA tag, the red “R” is the mutation site.)
The mutant NRAS (Q61R) is expressed under an optional inducible suCMV promoter. This lentivirus can be used for regular constitutive high expression (without any induction) or used for inducible expression with tetracycline or Dox induction when the tetracycline repressor protein (TetR) is present.
The lentivirus contains a RFP-Blasticidin fusion dual marker under the RSV promoter, which allows Red Fluorescence sorting or Blasticidin selection of transduced cells. The RFP signal additionally provides convenient, real-time monitoring of the particles’ performance. (see related products: CAT#: LVP799, LVP799-GP , LVP762)
