Description
Lentivirus expresses the mutant of human target, NRAS (G61D): NRAS proto-oncogene, GTPase (alternative name: ALPS4; CMNS; N-ras; NCMS; NRAS1; NS6 ). This lentivirus expresses the mutant version of NRAS (ID: NM_002524, with mutation site at G61D) with a C-terminal HiBit tag. Click to see the codon sequence of NRAS(G12D)-BiBit.
The HiBit tag is derived from the naturally occurring bioluminescent protein NanoLuc, which emits a bright luminescent signal upon interaction with a specific substrate. When the HiBit tag is fused to a protein of interest, it can be used to detect and quantify the expression of the tagged protein in cells or tissues.
The mutant NRAS (G12D) is expressed under an optional inducible suCMV promoter. This lentivirus can be used for regular constitutive high expression (without any induction) or used for inducible expression with tetracycline or Dox induction when the tetracycline repressor protein (TetR) is present.
The lentivirus contains a RFP-Blasticidin fusion dual marker under the RSV promoter, which allows Red Fluorescence sorting or Blasticidin selection of transduced cells. The RFP signal additionally provides convenient, real-time monitoring of the particles’ performance. (see related products: CAT#: LVP799, LVP799-GP , LVP762)
