CFP (EF1a, Bsd) lentiviral particles in PBS

Lentivirus expresses codon optimized Cyan Fluorescent Protein (CFP) under an enhanced EF1a promoter. A Blasticidin (BSD) selection marker was express under Rsv promoter, which allows to select transduced fluorescent positive cells. The following scheme showed the lentivector core structure:

The re-engineered EF1a promoter is strong constitutive promoter. It is non-tissue specific, highly expressed in all cell types, and less likely be silenced after long-term culture. See Product Manual (.pdf).
