anti miRNA lentivirus
anti-microRNA (miRNA inhibitor):
What is anti-microRNA?
A microRNA (miRNA) is a small non-coding RNA molecule (containing about 22 nucleotides) found in plants, animals and some viruses. Each miRNA regulate multiple gene functions in RNA silencing and post-transcriptional regulation. As a result, anti-miRNA (also called, miRNA inhibitor) will reversely regulate its targeted gene sets, and became a useful tool for gene function research.
Gentarget’s anti-microRNA Lentivector:
Gentarget developed a set of anti-miRNA lentivectors in which the anti-miRNA sequence is driven by either H1 promoter or U6 promoter, carrying a desired selection marker: the antibiotic selection or the Fluorescent-antibiotic fusion dual selection. see anti-miRNA lentivector map scheme below:
Customized anti-microRNA Lentivirus:
GenTarget provides custom anti-miRNA lentivirus as “made on demand” order, for any species’ miRNAs listed in the miRBase database .
To order Custom anti-miRNAs :
-
- Choose from either the H1 or U6 promoter for driving anti-miRNA expression;
- Choose the selection marker among Puromycin, Blasticidin, GFP-Bsd, GFP-Puro, RFP-Bsd, RFP-Puro;
- Provide the microRNA ID;
Contents of each order:
-
- 0.5 ml of pre-made anti-miRNA lentivirus (specific to the desired miRNA)
- 0.5 ml of negative control anti-miRNA lentivirus
Timeline:
the custom anti-miRNAs will be delivered in about 2 weeks after the order placed.
