Lentivectors
Gentarget’s Lentivectors:
Gentarget developed a series of lentivectors for gene over-expression, shRNA for gene knockdown, CRISPR gRNA for gene editing, containing different selection: different antibiotic, or Fluorescent-Antibiotic fusion dual selection.
Gentarget’s lentivectors adapt must advanced lentiviral safety features (using the third generation vectors with self-inactivation SIN-3UTR, multiple packaging plasmids), which packages the replication incompetent lentivirus.
1. shRNA knockdown lentivectors:
shRNA lentivectors allows you to clone your target specific shRNA hairpin sequence, for produce target knockdown lentivirus. Please see the Product manual for details. The following scheme showed its core-structure.
2. CRISPR gRNA lentivectors:
gRNA lentivectors allows you to clone your target specific gRNA, for CRISPR genomic gene editing. It does not contain the CAS9 enzyme expression cassette which mean you need the standalone CAS9 expression lentivirus to carry out the genomic gene editing. Please see the Product manual for detail. 3. Promoter-less expression lentivectors:
The promoter-less lentivectors contains different selection marker. You can sub-clone your own “promoter-target” cassette into this lentivector, for investigating your promoter features. see details in: Promoter-less lentivector product page.
4. Lentivirus Packaging plasmids
The package mixture are consist of three plasmids at their optimal ratio for high titer lentivirus production.
