Description
Lentivirus expresses human the G12D mutant of KRAS proto-oncogene, GTPase, (Gene_Synonym: Kras (G12D)), with coding sequence 100% matching to CDS region in NCBI ID: NM_004985 except G12D point mutantation (gene_synonym: C-K-RAS; c-Ki-ras2; CFC2; K-Ras; K-RAS2A; K-RAS2B; K-RAS4A; K-RAS4B; KI-RAS; KRAS1; KRAS2; NS; NS3; RALD; RASK2).
It is expressed with N-terminal HiBit tag. The HiBit tag is derived from the naturally occurring bioluminescent protein NanoLuc, which emits a bright luminescent signal upon interaction with a specific substrate. When the HiBit tag is fused to a protein of interest, it can be used to detect and quantify the expression of the tagged protein in cells or tissues.
The target was expressed under the optional inducible CMV promoter (TetCMV) (click to see more technical details). It constitutively expresses the target. And optionally, It can be used for the inducible expression when used together with its repressor (TetR). The lentivirus contains the RFP-Blasticidin fusion dual selection marker, under RSV promoter, allows to sort or select transduced cells via RFP signal or via blasticidin antibiotic. RFP signal provides convenient, realtime monitoring of the performance of the particles.
When desired, use the Null-control Lentivirus (CAT#: CMV-Null-RB) as the negative control for lentivirus treatment in your cell culture. The Null-Control does not express any targets, but has the same RFP-Blasticidin selection marker.
