Description
Pre-made Lentivirus express human target: TERT (telomerase reverse transcriptase), (alternative name: EST2, TCS1, TP2, TRT, hEST2), 100% matched CDS region in NCBI ID: NM_198253. Telomerase expression plays a role in cellular senescence. Over-expression of hTERT was found to immortalize certain cell types as well as impart different interesting properties to different stem cells.
The hTERT is constantly expressed under an optional inducible CMV promoter (It can be turned into inducible expression when its TetR repressor is present). A Blasticidin-RFP fusion marker, under RSV promoter, allows to sort or select transduced cells via RFP signal or via blasticidin antibiotic (Dual markers). This is the concentrated lentivirus, provided at higher titer in PBS solution.
Amount: 200ul, at 1 x 108 IFU/ml in PBS solution, premixed with Polybrene.
