Description
Human HT-29 is a human colorectal adenocarcinoma epithelial cell line. This cell line was established in 1964 from the primary tumor of a 44-year-old Caucasian female with colorectal adenocarcinoma. HT-29 cells overproduce the p53 (H273R) mutant tumor antigen. The cells proliferate rapidly in media containing suramin, with corresponding high expression of the c-myc oncogene.
Gentarget provides this Luciferase reporter cell line, transformed from human HT-29 cell line by lentivirus transduction. This cell line expresses the firefly luciferase-3 gene under the enhanced EF1a promoter. It also carries the Puromycin resistance under Rsv promoter. The cell line demonstrates the high level of bioluminescence signal via firefly luciferase assay. The following express cassette was integrated into cell line’s genome.
