Description
Human MCF10A cell line was derived from 36-year-old Caucasian female, human breast mammary gland epithelial cells. It is a normal breast cells (non-tumorigenic cells), and most commonly used as normal breast cell model, expressing breast specific antigens. Its media requires Hydrocortisone, horse serum, insulin, epidermal growth factor, cholera toxin and cultured in serum free medium with low Ca++ concentration. The line is responsive to insulin, glucocorticoids, cholera endotoxin, and epidermal growth factor (EGF).
Gentarget generated this GFP reporter cells, transformed from human MCF10A cell line by lentivirus expressing enhance GFP fluorescent marker. GFP was expressed under the constitutive EF1a Promoter. Cell line contains a Puromycin (Puro) antibiotic selection marker.
The follow expression cassette was integrated into cell line’s genome.
Each cell showed GFP fluorescent signal.
