Description
Transformed from Hela cells by lentiviral system. The cell line has the following two expression cassettes integrated into its genome.
The codon optimized RFP is expressed under an inducible suCMV promoter. The cell line constitutively expresses the repressor protein (tetR) which stops the RFP’s expression. Then, the RFP expression only occurs when the inducer, tetracycline was added into the culture medium. see sample image below:
