Description
This mouse B lymphocyte, a suspension cell line, was established from the MOPC315 plasmacytoma in a BALB/c mouse. It is used extensively in immunological research and studies related to multiple myeloma. MOPC-315 cells exhibit a surface antigen profile with positive markers of CD38, CD138, CD79a/b, CD45, CD54, and MHC Class I, while lacking or having low expression of CD19, CD20, CD3, CD34, and CD14.
This reporter cell line was transformed from mouse B lymphocyte (MOPC315) cells, expressing firefly Luciferase report under the enhanced EF1a promoter. The Puromycin resistance marker was expressed under Rsv promoter. The following express cassette was integrated into cell line’s genome.
The strong luciferase signal was detected via Luciferase assay using luciferin substrate, In vitro and In vivo.
