Description
Premade Nano-Lantern Lentivirus for Luminescence Imaging of Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) sub-cellular structure.
About Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER):
The Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) is an essential subcellular structure that plays multiple roles in the cell. The primary function of the ER is protein and lipid synthesis and folding. It is a network of interconnected membrane-bound tubes and sacs that extends throughout the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells. The ER membrane contains channels that allow for the regulated release of calcium ions into the cytosol.
About Nano-Lantern Endoplasmic Reticulum:
This Lentivirus construct the fusion of Orange-Nano-Lantern with the ER retention signal (KDEL). It allows real-time Luminescence imaging the Endoplasmic Reticulum sub-cellular structure in dynamics in live cells. The lentivirus contains the puromycin selection.
