Description
Pre-made lentivirus express reverse tetracycline Transcriptional Activator (rtTA) protein. Lentiviral particles expressing rtTA-m2 gene (ABC65845.1) under an enhanced EF1a promoter (which is non-tissue, non-cell-type specific promoter, not be silenced after long-term culture). A Zeocin antibiotic marker under RSV promoter, allows to sort or select transduced cells for long-term expression via Puromycin antibiotic marker. See Product Manual (.pdf).
rtTA-M2 is a mutant of rtTA that has increased stability, reduced background expression in the absence of Doxycycline (Dox, tetracycline analog) and improved inducibility in the presence of Dox. It is used for TetOn inducible expression system.
Amount: 200ul/per vial, at 1 x 108 IFU/ml. (premixed with 10x Polybrene, 60 ug/ml)
